Just type Brigadoon 1966, and it should come up.

I found it and am downloading it now. I'm kind of a newbie at converting video, but if nobody else puts it up (and if it's PD, of course) I'll see what I can do.

Well, I downloaded the pieces as MP4s and am now merging them together in MPEG Steamclip. I don't know how it will turn out; I'm using my work computer and haven't had a chance to play the clips yet.

The MP4 I'm generating currently is scaled up so I can make a DVD of it. I think that's expanding the file size rather badly as well. I made an AVI of it earlier and it came out over 8 Gig. (And then wouldn't burn to DVD on my software. There's a couple of hours I'll never get back.) If I make one for upload I probably shouldn't scale it, right?

Has a determination been made as to whether it's PD or not? It seems a shame for this film to go to waste, but I wouldn't want the Archive to get in trouble either.

Okay, it's uploaded to Open Source Movies and being derived even as I type. I didn't have a chance to do more than just play the first bit, but the software I used seems to have fused the nine parts pretty neatly. There are several seconds of black screen after the opening commercial, as if someone stopped the recording to skip the ad. I don't know if that holds true for the rest of the show.

I'm a little concerned about the copyright status on this. If you look at the last gif in the thumbnails, it shows a copyright 1966 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. But at IMDb I don't see anywhere that MGM had its hands on this production. It does list it as a ROGO production, which appears to refer to Robert Goulet. (The other shows produced under that name all star him as well.) How does MGM come by a copyright claim on this?
